Excellent Stay Near the Rijksmuseum

beautiful designdelicious breakfasthelpful staffdisruptive noise
The hotel is beautifully designed. I found the breakfast delicious and plentiful. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The location is central, very close to the tram for transport to the central station.
The hallway had a wooden floor, I could hear noise from people walking and talking in adjacent rooms, a bit disruptive.

The hotel has a great gym. It features good equipment with dumbells. The gym stays open 24/7. The location proved very convenient. I found myself close to a tram stop for easy access to the central station.
The reception staff were not the friendliest. The bedrooms are a bit outdated.

acceptable stay near the museum district

convenient locationeasy walkdelicious wafflemisleading descriptionpoor resolutionsmall compensation
the location was very convenient. it was handy for the museum district, but also an easy walk into the centre. the breakfast was good (i especially liked the waffles!). the rooms were well thought out with everything i needed.
i found some misleading room descriptions on a website. i booked a family suite, but the room matched the description of a duplex suite. customer service did not resolve my issue (they offered a small compensation).

helpful cutecheap dispenserinconvenient coffee maker
The reception had warm and helpful cute.
The room was allegedly a five-star accommodation , yet it featured cheap fixed dispensers in the bathroom. The coffee maker forced me to slide the entire tray to reach a power socket. I am not sure what the premium price for a 'superior' room was for.
